# Dunkin' Donuts announces it will drop the "Donuts" part of its name and be simply known as "Dunkin' " beginning in January 2019. 

Dunkin' Donuts announced it will drop donuts from its name as part of a rebranding effort in 2019, but it will still sell the breakfast staple.
