# Chief Minister Amarinder Singh orders the extension of the curfew from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. IST to the entire state, as well as banning all public gatherings, due to an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases. 

Night curfew in Punjab news: Following the recent surge in Covid-19 cases, Punjab CM Amarinder Singh has ordered enforcement of a statewide night curfew apart from a ban on all public gatherings till April 30.
