# Qatar announces that a reimposition the strict lockdown that forced restaurants, cafés, cinemas, hairdresses, museums and libraries to close and banning most indoor activities from April 9 in order to contain the surge of the COVID-19 cases. 

Qatar announced the reimposition of strict lockdown measures on Wednesday, banning most indoor activities except retail and work in an effort to contain surging coronavirus cases.
