# The Food and Drug Administration suspends the use of the Oxford–AstraZeneca vaccine for those aged under 60 years old in the Philippines following reports of possible link with rare cases of blood clots. 

(UPDATE) The Philippines on Thursday suspended the use of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine for those below 60 years old due to reports of rare blood clots in some individuals who received the product abroad.
