# The Food and Drug Administration suspends the use of the Oxford–AstraZeneca vaccine in people under 60 years old following reports of a possible link with rare cases of blood clots. 

(UPDATE) The Philippines on Thursday suspended the use of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine for those below 60 years old due to reports of rare blood clots in some individuals who received the product abroad.
