##### COVID-19 pandemic
# The Japanese government designate Tokyo, Kyoto and nine cities in Okinawa in a stricter measure in order to curb the rising number of the COVID-19 casea that authorize the governors to request the establishment to close at 8:00 p.m. in designated areas. The measures will be effective from April 15 until May 5 for Kyoto and Okinawa and May 11 for Tokyo. 

In the greater Tokyo metropolitan area, a highly infectious strain of the coronavirus first identified in the U.K. — N501Y — now accounts for a third of new infections.
