# In the Strait of Hormuz, the USCGC "Maui" fired 30 warning shots at a squadron of 13 Iranian Revolutionary Guard fast attack craft that were harassing a flotilla of six U.S. Navy warships escorting the guided missile submarine USS "Georgia". 

The US Coast Guard cutter Maui fired two rounds of warning shots with a .50 caliber machine gun to drive the gunboats away.
