# The Government of Colombia reports that six of the 26 Colombian mercenaries allegedly involved in killing Haitian president Jovenel Moïse were once members of the National Army of Colombia. Two of them were killed during the shootout with police and four others were arrested. 

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) — Two men believed to be Haitian Americans — one of them purportedly a former bodyguard at the Canadian Embassy in Port au Prince — have been arrested in connection with the assassination of Haiti’s president, Haitian officials said Thursday.
