# U.S. marines begin arriving in Kabul to secure Hamid Karzai International Airport and evacuate U.S. embassy staff and allied Afghan interpreters. 

U.S. Marines began arriving in Kabul on Friday to help evacuate embassy staff as the Taliban offensive continued its sweep through Afghanistan.
