##### COVID-19 pandemic
# New South Wales enters a statewide lockdown which also applied to all regional parts of the state that required people to stay-at-home as well as closing all non-essential retail premises and hospitality venues will revert to takeaway services after a record 466 new cases was reported in the past 24 hours. 

Deputy Premier John Barilaro said stay-at-home orders were being introduced for all of regional NSW "to protect our communities from the evolving COVID situation in Sydney".
