# U.S. troops shoot dead two "armed men" at Hamid Karzai International Airport as evacuations of Western diplomats and allied Afghans continues. 

Chaotic scenes at Kabul’s international airport turned deadly as thousands of people converged in hopes of getting on an evacuation flight after the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan.
