# A Taliban militant is stabbed by protestors in Asadabad while celebrating the Independence Day. Fellow Taliban militants open fire on the crowd after the stabbing, killing two people and wounding eight more. In Jalalabad, two people are injured during a protest. 

At least two people were killed in Asadabad city when the Taliban opened fire following a stabbing attempt.
