# The Israel Defense Forces and its Spokesperson's Unit confirms Al-Qassam Brigades commander Ismail Mohammad Ibrahim Barim, who held Edan Alexander, Matan Zangauker, and Avera Mengistu as hostages, was killed in a strike in Khan Yunis.
