# Nigeria's Dangote Group launches an initial public offering (IPO) of 4.1 billion shares at ₦525 (US$0.40) each, seeking to raise about ₦2.15 trillion ($1.6 billion) to fund the expansion of the Dangote refinery in Lekki, Lagos State. The sale is set to become Africa's biggest IPO.
