# The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) votes 152–3, with four abstentions, to allow Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas and other senior Palestinian officials to address UN meetings, including the general debate of the eighty-first session of the UNGA, by video for one year after United States visa restrictions prevented their travel to New York City, where the UN headquarters are.
