##### Bank of England
# The Bank of England announces that the Atlantic puffin, barn owl, buff-tailed bumblebee, and European hedgehog will feature on the next set of pound sterling notes to be issued in the United Kingdom. It will be the first time animals have replaced people on banknotes in England, which is intended to increase awareness of British wildlife.

The decision comes after nearly half a million people voted on a shortlist of 18 creatures.
