##### 2026 Binance hack
# The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation says North Korea orchestrated the hack and theft of over $6 billion of cryptocurrency from exchange Binance, facilitated through the Lazarus Group, which also hacked Dubai-based exchange Bybit last year.

The FBI said the theft was tied to "malicious cyber activity" by an entity known as TraderTraitor, the same actors behind a $1.5 billion Bybit hack last year.
