Offstream aims to minimise collection of any visitor information:

• this webserver does not store access or error logs
• this website does not use cookies, sessions or local storage
• this website does not display ads

Offstream aims to serve an open and multi-format content:

• the website is readable in HTML, JSON, XML and Markdown
• the API is free, open to all and not rate-limited

Offstream is based on infrastructure that may, or may not follow Offstream principles:

• Server infrastructure is provided by Vultr Holdings Corporation, located in New Jersey, USA. There is no reason to believe it is tracking visitors of its machines, however it's technically possible
• DNS infrastructure is provided by Cloudflare, Inc, located in San Francisco, USA. It is tracking basic log data of visitors, like IP address and system configuration, but with strict privacy and without personalisation. It is placing a single cfduid cookie on visitors machines, but it does not hold any personally identifiable information and is not used for cross-site tracking.
