The United Arab Emirates Armed Forces intercepts two ballistic missiles over the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi. The Yemen-based Houthis claim responsibility for the attack. American troops stationed at Al Dhafra Air Base near the capital take shelter in bunkers during the attack.
The Yemeni Ministry of Defense says 300 people were killed and wounded in United Arab Emirates air raids in southern Yemen over the two previous days. The UAE Foreign Ministry has said the "preemptive operation" targeted "terrorist militias".

A Saudi-led military coalition bombards government buildings and residential neighborhoods in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, killing about 30 people, including civilians. Rescuers continue searching for other possible victims buried under the rubble.
