The Department of Justice of the Philippines reports that a trial court in Taguig has convicted 17 leaders and members of Abu Sayyaf, including two top officials of the Rajah Sulaiman Movement who have been in the United Nations Security Council's Sanctions List, of the kidnapping of 21 tourists from Sipadan, Malaysia, in 2000.
