A court in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania finds that there is enough evidence to hold entertainer Bill Cosby on felony indecent assault charges in relation to the case of "Andrea Constand v. William H. Cosby, Jr.".
Seven students and a teacher are injured as the result of a small explosion in an eighth-grade science classroom in Wilson Middle School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, United States. Two of the students were flown by helicopter to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. One was released that evening, the other is in fair condition.
Christopher Coke, sent to United States territory by Jamaica, pleads not guilty to United States charges of drug smuggling at a federal court in New York and, in his first public comments since August, says he took the decision to be extradited "in the best interest of my family, the community of western Kingston and in particular the people of Tivoli Gardens and above all Jamaica".
