Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg announces an increase in NATO personnel in Iraq from 500 to around 4,000 amid a surge in ISIL activity in the country. The training mission will also be expanded to more areas beyond Baghdad and include more Iraqi security institutions, according to Stoltenberg.
