Three super-Earth exoplanets are announced orbiting around the nearby red dwarf Gliese 1061, one of which orbits within the star's habitable zone. 2019-08-13
Astronomers from the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy announce the discovery of red dwarf star GJ 357 and its three confirmed exoplanets in the Hydra constellation, one of which (GJ 357 d) is highly likely to be a super-Earth planet located in the system's circumstellar habitable zone where life can exist. The discovery was made using NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). 2019-08-1
A study on exoplanet populations combining decades of data from several different observatories detects 118 possible exoplanets orbiting nearby red dwarfs, including new discoveries around nearby stars Wolf 359, Lacaille 9352, Struve 2398 B, and Luyten's Star. 2019-06-12
