Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin tenders resignation over disagreement with the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party as to the upcoming presidential election. He stated at a press conference that the election scheduled for May 10, should be postponed, while the government pushes for the election amid the coronavirus pandemic. Gowin also resigns as Minister of Science and Higher Education.
