President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announces the closure of schools for the remainder of the semester and introduces a nationwide weekend curfew from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. local time. Restrictions for senior citizens over 65 years of age will also be expanded to include people under 20 years of age, allowing them to go outside only from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.. The new restrictions also order the closure of coffeehouses and cinemas, and for all sports events to be held without fans.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announces to close schools for the remainder of the semester and introduced a nationwide weekend curfew from 8:00 pm to 10:00 am local time and the rule for senior citizens 65 and over would be expanded to include people 20 or younger which allow them to go outside only between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The new restrictions also order that all sports events be held without fans, closure of coffeehouses until further notice, and cinemas remain closed until the end of the year.
