Russian invasion of Ukraine The Russian Volunteer Corps claims to have captured the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Belgorod region of Russia. The governor of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov, says that about 100 civilians are still trapped in the village and cannot be evacuated because of continued shelling.
