The United Nations warns that if the war in Gaza continues for a second month, poverty among Palestinians will increase by 34 percent, causing nearly half a million people to experience poverty. After a third month, GDP will decline by more than 12 percent, with losses of US$2.5 billion for the economy, and causing more than 660,000 people to experience poverty.
