Former British Labour MP Eric Illsley is jailed for 12 months for dishonestly claiming parliamentary expenses. The sentence comes on the same day that Jim Devine, another former Labour MP, is convicted of dishonestly claiming £8,385 of expenses by using false invoices for cleaning and printing work.
