Three U.S. Army soldiers are accused of conspiring to buy firearms in Tennessee and Kentucky, then illegally sell them in Chicago, where the weapons were traced to at least one mass shooting on March 26, 2021, a February 2 homicide, and a March 11 shooting. Federal agents determined that the three soldiers bought about 91 firearms in Tennessee and Kentucky between September and April and sold them in Chicago.
