Stutthof concentration camp
A 96-year-old German woman accused of aiding to murder 11,412 people when she was a typist at the Stutthof concentration camp, fled, according to a court spokesperson. Saying that the "accused is on the run", the court issued an arrest warrant against her near the Danish border as charges cannot be read without her present. The accused was apprehended hours later, and local authorities are now assessing whether she is able to serve a prison sentence.
