The WHO's Strategic Advisory Group of Experts recommends that immunocompromised people to receive third dose of the vaccine due to risk of breakthrough infections after standard immunization. The panel also recommends people aged over 60 to receive additional dose of the Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines three months after their second dose citing the less performed vaccine in Latin America.
